The BEST way to beat this heat for me has always been taking an adventure out on Lake Mead by way of a paddle wheel boat. Lake Mead Cruises is the answer to the often posed question - EXTREME HEAT - what can you do in the desert? I have cruised with #lakemeadcruises countless times over many, many, many years. 

My fondest memories are EVERY time my dad visits here before arriving he says, "Be sure to book that boat with that buffet breakfast, ok?!!!" and I am pleased to say have not missed a request yet.

Have you noticed?

The construction of the Mike O'Callaghan–Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is taking place. This photo was taken JUST before the arch was completed. The bridge spans the Colorado River between the states of Arizona and Nevada.

Some eleven years later I have driven across this bridge countless times - stood on the bridges overlook areas - walked across the entire span of the bridge. It is a magnificent piece of engineering wonder.

I love capturing moments like this - just LOVE IT!!!
